Interior Architect Project Manager

Outstanding career opportunity for talented, entrepreneurial Project Manager specializing in Interior Architecture for Corporate, Hospitality and Academic clients. The ideal candidate would have some work in identity, design strategy and branded environments. 25-40hr position.

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for meeting budgetary, schedule, scope, and quality objectives.

•Oversee small project team, including but not limited to Design and Production Team Members, and directs and coordinates outside consultant activity.

•Plan, coordinate, and direct multiple concurrent projects in various stages of development.

• Participate in the development, negotiation and implementation of the professional services proposal/contract process; establishing project service delivery requirements, hour allocations, team structure and project schedule commitments. •Create, review and update accounting/billing project reports. •Oversee and participate in the creation of design, construction, and contract documents.

•Develop solutions to issues arising during the course of the project. *Participate in CA phase of projects.

•Assist with marketing and business development. Potential development into a Studio leadership role for the right candidate. •Architecture Degree (not an interior design degree) and a minimum of 5 years professional experience including Project Manager experience.

•LEED Accredited preferred. *MUST have strong knowledge of interior architecture detailing, materials, codes and drawing standards.

•A comprehensive understanding of the coordination aspects and related requirements of design disciplines.

•Ability to motivate others and develop teamwork.

•Must have excellent writing and speaking skills, and strong organizational and presentation skills.

•Ability to work well with others under deadline situations.

•Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.

•Must have strong leadership, project management and client relations skills.
