We are architects and interior designers focused on corporate, hospitality, academic and residential design. Most of us are trained as architects though much of our work is interior. We all think about design holistically, from the outside in and from the inside out.
We have an open studio environment which encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and information. Our studio is in the Sparhawk building in Allston Village, a wonderful part of Boston that we love for its diversity, colorful street-life and great lunch spots.
The Name
Architecture has weight; it is made out of solid materials, it is present and houses real activities for real people. In a world that is increasingly about representation and imitation, architecture still holds the potential to ground human experience. As our world and our experiences get more and more virtual, architecture still is still THERE.
THEREdesign is SOMWBA certified, qualifying for WBE and MBE. We are also a member of the USGBC.
